Final Stage Prototype is a single stage vertical rail shooter that's still in development. It still needs a lot of polish, but I want to make it available to play as soon as possible in order to get feedback on the mechanics and difficulty... The "gamefeel," if you will. Is the game too easy or difficult? Do the bullet patters feel interesting or uninspired? Is it engaging enough throughout the stage? Please leave comments with your thoughts so I can improve the game!

Please note this is an early alpha release, so many elements of the game are not implemented yet. Take a peek at Planned Developments below to see what I'm planning to add in future versions.

~ How To Play ~

Controls (remappable in the options menu):
Arrows/WASD/Left Stick: Move
Z/Space/Btn. 0: Fire primary weapon (select in menus)
Shift/Btn. 9: Slow movement
X/E/Btn. 10: Dimensional shift
C/Q/Btn. 1: Panic
P/Btn. 3: Pause/Unpause

Dimensional shift is your ship's  unique ability; holding the button generates a field of warped space around the ship after a brief delay. Bullets caught in this space are redirected up towards the enemy and can damage enemy craft. Take care though, as shifted bullets can still damage your ship!

Panic is an emergency system that lets out a stream of shots in a large area around your ship. They don't do much damage, but they can clear away enemy bullets, making them invaluable for survival. Panic is a limited resource, and once there are none remaining, the system can no longer be triggered.

Your main weapon isn't affected by your craft's dimensional shift power, so feel free to combine the two for maximum damage! However, the panic system *is* affected by dimensional shift, so activating those two systems together is not recommended. The dimensional shift may have other unexpected effects...
